About Me

My photo
I started stitching a few years ago thanks to a very dear friend. She has encouraged and taught me so much. I am the Mum of three great kids who I love dearly. I love to stitch in my spare time and even though I am a newbie I enjoy it very much.

Woodland Magic Finished

Finally Woodland Magic is finished. Even though this is my second quilt, it is the first one I have finished. it came back from Rainbow Patchwork after being quilted last week. I was busy all weekend and have only just finished the binding & labelling it tonight.

The lovely simple leaf pattern works well and I love the backing fabric that the very patient Karen from Rainbow Patchwork in Lismore helped me select for the quilt.

Now all we need is for the baby this is for to hurry up & come along. You are three days overdue it is time to come and meet us all.
Miss Chook brought home her first sewing project from school. A lovely chenille cushion that she is very proud of. Below are her medals from the weekends athletics that she is also particularly proud of. Two gold from the 200 metre hurdles and the 3000m and a silver for the seniors relay. Congratulations Chicken you put in a huge effort all weekend.

So very proud of my boy who had a great time and met some wonderful people during the Relay for Life all while raising money for such a worthy cause. Well done Mate you have worked so hard to get where you are today. Keep striving on, we are awaiting your school certificate results very soon. I am sure they will be great.
My baby graduated Year six today.... Where does the time go. Well done Mullet you will be in with the big kids all too soon...
Very soon I hope to have my Faithful Friends quilt back from being quilted would love to have it done by christmas.... Happy stitching...
