I think this little owl is so cute.
But I think these cherries are my favourite so far. All the stitcheries are gorgeous and all the little sayings are so very true. Life is beautiful we should appreciate it more than most of us do.
It took me quite a while to understand that these circles came from behind the stitcheries and then a circle from behind this one with be on the corners of each square when it is all together. A very clever idea and it saves fabric and the amount of seams I need to sew, always.
Now I am getting more than a little excited about attending my first GDITC in under 3 weeks. So here is a peek at my name tag. Ric rac and I are not really friends as it doesnt like to co-operate with me but I gave it a go anyway. Looking forward to meeting some wonderful new people there and catching up with my very dear friend Ann who I never get to see often enough.
Have a great week. Happy Stitching.
