About Me

My photo
I started stitching a few years ago thanks to a very dear friend. She has encouraged and taught me so much. I am the Mum of three great kids who I love dearly. I love to stitch in my spare time and even though I am a newbie I enjoy it very much.

A finish & parcels what a good week

I was very excited to get a couple of parcels in the mail this week. The first one I received was my kit and fabric for Sue Daley's Joined at the Heart that I ordered in Nundle. A very big thankyou to Kerry from Cottage on the Hill for choosing the fabrics they are lovely.

Background and border fabric above and other fabrics below. The photos don't do the reds justice they are lovely.

Today I felt like a change from stitching. I had this bag kit stashed away for just an occasion like this. I bought it at Rainbow Patchwork as I really loved the pink and taupe colours in the fabrics. It came together really quickly. I managed to cut out between the dawn service and the march and then put it together this afternoon. It's not very big but very cute I think.

I was also very excited to receive a second parcel - a new BOM in the mail. In Full Bloom is very cute. Some lovely stitcheries and gorgeous fabric, I can't wait to start this one but I have to catch up beautiful life before I can start.

I hope everyone had a nice ANZAC day and was able to commemorate the day with loved ones and remember how lucky we are. Enjoy the remainder of your week. Happy stitching xox
