Animal Whimsy

Now that it is so nice to be home, I thought I might start on the very cute Animal Whimsy quilt I am making for a baby on the way. There are twelve blocks and I have done four already. It is machine appliqued so reasonably quick to get together. I couldn't bring myself to put the button eyes on a babies quilt as I would feel awful if one was to come off, so I have satin stitched the eyes but I think they have come up okay.
 
 

 
I think the duck is my favourite so far. He is very cute.

 
So is the puppy...
