The room looked beautiful when we arrived so much of the tutors gorgeous projects
on display to admire and see up close. I could easily have taken it all home with me.
These cute little birds were our table decorations and this cute little one flew home with me after the retreat.
I selected this table runner of Gail Pan's to attempt from my collection of patterns.
After a lesson from Gail on how to use a bias binding maker & a how to on needleturn applique I was finally underway.
This is my progress so far, I still need to stitch down the bird and add the flower centres. Then to do it all again on the other end. But coming together nicely so far.
